No partner links are currently live, no enquiries are being passed anywhere, and no money is changing hands. Buttons that would normally reach a partner show a clear launch notice instead.

• Our willingness to say that ownership does not suit someone

Any paid placement will be labelled as such on the page where it appears. A payment cannot buy a better score, a softer cost breakdown or the removal of a caution.

Comparison sites lose their value the moment readers cannot tell advice from advertising. Publishing the revenue model is the simplest way to let you judge what you are reading.
